Despite the versatility of the D.Modules, constraints may exist which prevent their use in certain applications. If one of the following requirements applies to your application, please contact us to discuss your needs:

• include application specific I/O devices and peripherals
• mechanical restrictions like size, board shape, connectors
• non-standard electrical requirements (e.g. insulation class)
• minimize hardware production costs (high volume product)

Our range of custom designs covers carrier boards for D.Module DSP and Peripherals as well as completely customized DSP boards. In any case you will benefit from our knowledge, experience, and relations to the leading DSP manufacturers. Most customers have based their development and prototypes on D.Modules to evaluate the final system requirements. Once determined, these specifications are implemented in the custom hardware. Since we use the same software and programming model (D.Module.BIOS, SetUp Utility, etc.) on our custom designs as we use on our D.Modules, only minor software adaption is required when migrating to the final custom hardware solution.

Various business models are possible, from exclusive buyout of hardware, software, and production data up to purchasing readily produced, tested, and preprogrammed custom boards from D.SignT.
