D.Module2.AD25M16
The D.Module2.AD25M16 is based on two high-resolution 16-bit pipeline A/D converters of type LTC2203. The data acquisition frontend digitises two analog input signals at sampling rates of up to 25 MS/s with 16-bit resolution. The inputs can be operated differentially or single-ended and provide a bandwidth of DC to 200 MHz. A precision internal sampling clock with programmable frequency or an external clock input allows flexible integration into a wide range of measurement and data acquisition systems.
As an alternative to the second channel, a PPS TTL signal can be acquired synchronously with the measurement data, making the module particularly suitable for time-synchronised measurement tasks. The connection to the DSP module D.Module2.C6657 is made directly via the high-performance uPP interface.

Applications

Typical use cases are IF subsampling in radar and Software-Defined Radio systems, ultrasonic testing equipment with high depth resolution, and measurement systems for wideband signals up to 200 MHz. The synchronous PPS acquisition also makes the module attractive for GPS-based time synchronisation in distributed measurement systems.
