CCS5 Realtime Option

1 Problems:

• Breakpoints are not active when they are set while the CPU is running
• GEL-file input is not asserted while the CPU is running

2 Solution:

Open "Generic Debugger Options"

Activate "Halt the target before any debugger acess(will impact servicing interrupts)"

In some older releases this option was “Enable silicon real-time mode (service critical interrupts when halted, allow debugger accesses while running)”.

Then select “Remember My Settings” or “Yes” if a dialog box pops up asking if you want to allow real-time switching.
