The D.Module.ADDA16 offers 4 fully differential input channels which are sampled synchronously by precision 16-bit 250 KSPS successive approximation A/D converters.
Also provided are 4 single-ended analog outputs, driven by 16-bit D/A convertes with 2 μs settling time.

Key application areas are industrial control systems, high-end measurement, and robotics. The architecture guarantees a very small delay from sampling to data availability (4 μs, independent of sampling clock) - vital for high-speed control loops. The analog inputs are not equipped with antialiasing filters. The input signals must be externally band-liited if required. The D/A converters are followed by 2nd order Butterworth smoothing filters. D/A channel update can be free-running or synchronized to A/D sampling.
